Supports and maintains end-user computer systems, desktops, peripherals, network and PBX. This includes on site installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance; Prepares Master for workstations with collaboration of System Administrators

 

  • Prepares new Service Centers and workstation for new employees;
  • Monitors cabling and equipment process in new Service Centers;
  • Makes progress reports in case of new Service Center installation process;
  • Prepares workstation with standard application, installs workstation locally (on side), turns workstation in company network;
  • Prepares telephone connection;
  • Resolves IT incidents and request;
  • Receives and responds request through Helpdesk regarding desktop, peripherals, network equipment, PBX and LCD currency rates exchange board problems;
  • Installs, configures, tests, maintains, monitors and troubleshoots end-user workstations and related hardware and software;
  • Ensures that physical desktop connections (i.e. RJ-45 Ethernet jacks, RJ-11 telephone modem jacks, connectors between PCs and servers, etc.) are in proper working order;
  • Monitors broken hardware transportation process (from branch to HO and vice-versa);
  • Monitors warranty service process;
  • Supports Infrastructure and Core Banking & BI divisions;
  • Collaborates with IT divisions to ensure efficient operation of the company’s desktop computing environment;
  • Participates in software changes in standard software pack (on site);
  • Reviews and manages hardware assets;
  • Participates in asset management and inventory control;
  • Supports IT inventory establishments and updates;
  • Performs other related duties as required;

Education, Qualifications & Experience   

  • University Degree in Information Technology or related field;
  • Minimum 1 years of experience working at IT technician’s position;
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software installation;
  • Good knowledge of IT tools and Equipment;

Language Skills

Fluent in Georgian, knowledge of Russian and English languages at conversational level

Computer Skills          

  • Knowledge of basic network fundamentals (IP Addressing, TCP/IP protocols, Network equipment, etc.);
  • Good knowledge of Windows 2000/ XP, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);

KEY DELIVERABLES

IT technical, cabling, telephone connections and other equipment installation and maintenance process high quality assurance. Proper technical support of new employees and FINCA Bank Georgia’s offices.

Prompt responses to service requests.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Extensive travel is required
